Junk drawers don’t start out messy.

They slowly collect things… until nothing makes sense anymore.

The goal isn’t to make it perfect.

It’s to make it functional.

You will find the ones I use HERE

Empty It All Out

Start fresh.

  • take everything out

  • wipe the drawer

  • see what you actually have

Get Rid of What You Don’t Need

This is where most of the clutter goes.

  • duplicates

  • broken items

  • things you forgot about

Group Similar Items Together

Keep it simple:

  • pens

  • tools

  • random small items

Use Simple Dividers

✔ keeps things in place✔ makes it easy to maintain

Don’t Overfill It

Leave a little space.

That’s what keeps it from getting messy again.

Easy…but EXTRA Tip

A few simple dividers or small bins make a huge difference in a junk drawer.

They keep things in place and make it much easier to maintain over time.

You can see the ones I use and recommend HERE

Final Thought

A junk drawer doesn’t have to be perfect.

It just needs to make sense.
